Overview of GrowthBox service and data collection: Our mission is to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) grow by making marketing easier for them to do. We do this by using information provided by these SMEs to produce a series of recommended actions (‘GrowthPlan) and provide this GrowthPlan via email to the contact details provided by the SME. In addition, we also refer SMEs to our third party expert providers of marketing services following request by the SME and having received their consent to share this information with our third party marketing service providers.
Within the scope of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are a Data Controller of your information.
Information collected by GrowthBox and purpose(s) of use: GrowthBox collects information provided by the SME about the business activities of the SME in order to present the SME with marketing recommendations. It also collects information about the marketing services the SME wishes to pursue for connection with relevant third party marketing service providers. In the course of both activities, the SME provides personal contact information to allow a) the recommendations to be sent to them (via email) and b) for third party marketing service providers to contact them upon referrals of their needs. This information is also then used by GrowthBox for the purposes of gathering feedback and for future communications about changes to GrowthBox, news and updates and to market our services. Contact information may also be collected when the ‘Contact’ form is completed on the GrowthBox website.
GrowthBox also collects information from providers of marketing services who either wish to join the GrowthBox network or have been approved to join this network. This information is used a) for the referrals of SME needs (with their consent) to these providers, b) for the collection of feedback about the GrowthBox service and c) to provide updates to the GrowthBox service, changes to terms and conditions and to market our services.

Log Files: GrowthBox follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. Process and terms of data transfer – practical use of data in referral to third parties: When an SME requests connection to a marketing service provider, GrowthBox refers the detail provided by the SME, including the GrowthPlan if completed by the SME, to relevant marketing service providers with expertise to meet the needs of the SME. In turn the marketing service providers then make initial contact with the SME within 48 hours of the referral being made / SME request for referral. There is no obligation for the SME to commit to any proposal presented to them by the marketing service provider, and any subsequent agreement reached is between the SME and the marketing service provider and not with GrowthBox.
All our third party service providers are required to take appropriate security measures to protect your data in line with our policies. We permit them to process your data only for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions and following your request to be connected with third parties with relevant expertise to meet the needs set out by you.
Children's Information: Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity. GrowthBox does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not submit any Personal Data through the Site. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will promptly remove such information from our records.
